Leyden Jars
London based duo Natalie Williams and Mark Courtney debuted with a triptych of albums for the unimpeachable Mordant Music through 2016-2017. Followed by a fourth on the singular Outer Reaches (2020) and were part of the Cafe Oto Takuroku digital series. Their latest long player (Illusory Truths) was released via the always-avant Australian label Altered States Tapes in May 2025. A subsequent reissue was released via Spain's Mascarpone Discos in 2026.
Their live emissions are based on electronics that breathe! Incorporating sonic
place, sonic space with all manner of sound-makers; once eloquently described
as "Dank!!" (Jackson Burton). They have recently set up the Goods
Outward label where their 5th album 'Forgeries' was released in 2023.

Jonathan Bohman
Jonathan started making and recording music in 1974 with his
brother, Adam. Occasional gigs in the 1980s led to the establishment of The
Bohman Brothers as a live performance duo from the mid-90s to the present day.
In 2000, Jonathan added The Bohman Family group as an adjunct to The Bohman
Brothers, featuring a number of like-minded musicians and artists. This
ensemble, in turn, spawned Secluded Bronte (with Richard Thomas), Ischio
Romantico (with Leonard Aspen & Roger Boulding), and more recently, The
Dave Craught Five (with Romuald Wadych).
In addition, the brothers teamed up with their old colleague Richard Crow to
form The BBC around 2018. And now one can add Duvel Mortage, the trio with
Sophie Sleigh-Johnson to this roster.
